... Doodling— You do not have a tendency to doodle—it’s just too much movement. However, rather than doodling, you do tend to edit writing, noticing when things are misspelled or grammatically incorrect.
It annoys me to no end when a book has endless errors. I can forgive one... maybe two... but when there's a series of them, I've been known to pull out my red pen and start making corrections. I have even stopped reading books because there were so many errors they detoured me from the content. I've edited and I've written and it's not that I don't make mistakes myself but... VBG... I'd much rather edit than doodle.

... Personal Space—You like to keep things put away and out of sight, creating empty or negative space with no movement. You like your space to be clean, clear and orderly.
LOL - have you seen my studio, my kitchen, my nearly empty closet. I'm a firm believer in having a space for everything and having everything in its space. When there's too much mess and clutter, I can't function. It upsets me tremendously. I even have stopping points in my creative process where I tidy and put the studio back together so I can continue to move forward. I'm good at organization.

If you go through my image files - and especially the ones at the beginning of my return to fashion sewing - there could quite possibly be more pictures of me in fitting shells than in finished clothing. It is VERY important to me to figure out how to sew well fitted garments. I was once described as "a dog with a bone" for my determination to get it just right... and I'm glad I persevered... because now my clothes almost always fit the way I want with only the smallest of adjustments. No tailor needed.

A huge plus for me about sewing is the fact that my clothes fit, flatter, and are different than what other women are wearing. I don't want to be a cookie cutter of any kind. Even my black t-shirts are better black t-shirts because they're proportional to my size and fit smoothly. I definitely want to create unique, individual, one-of-a-kind clothes that are for me and me alone. I have no desire to see myself walking down the street.

You are very aware of how a garment fits on your body and prefer to have an exact fit. If what you are putting on your body does not fit you exactly according to your specifications, you will not be drawn to wearing it. If you have compromised on this, these are the garments that hang ignored in your closet. You will always choose to wear the clothes that fit you more perfectly.
And that is exactly what happened with two of the projects I was working on this month. They didn't look or feel or fit my body the way that I thought they should look and feel and fit and if they'd continued on into the closet, they would never have gotten worn. My daughter once commented that for a woman who sews as much as I do, I sure don't have a lot of clothes. Yes. This is why.

Some of these words resonate and some of them seem unlikely to be attributed to me. This method of assessing body energy and dressing is more intuitive and less analytic than anything I've studied before. If I've profiled myself correctly, I'm a Type Four. The next step is to learn more about embracing my four-ness and how to dress with type four energy. I'm intrigued to see how that will be both similar to and different from what I've learned with other methods. SO interesting.
